Let me start off with an apology and….“I’ve missed you!”
Without going into the boring details, I’ve been having
problems with my blog. Adding to that,
the ongoing, “no high speed internet” with rural living situation, has made
access to my blog a little more challenging.
But… that is all boring stuff that I will not bore you with reading! My goal is to continue to keep this blog 95% positive/interesting/entertaining
and only 5% boring/sad/depressing or just uninteresting!
The exciting news is that there is lots of new life and
excitement going on at the farm!
Since we have last chatted with each other:
-bees have arrived to the farm
-baby chicks have arrived to the farm
-our turkey “Norma” is growing stronger (and more beautiful)
with every passing day
-Farmer J has planted a prairie garden between our home and
the highway
-Farmer J has started the garden
-Farmer J purchased electric fencing for the pigs and has it
all ready to go
-Farmer J has been burning lots and lots of brush (with a burn permit and informing the local authorities... of course!)
-Farmer J has been shearing sheep
-My...Farmer J has been busy!
-Our GOS pigs arrival has been pushed back to June… this is
another long and unexciting story that I will spare you from reading about…
-The hens are laying more eggs again! Thanks to all the extra sunlight!
I hope this quick catch up has brightened your day. I promise to do all I can to never have such a long break in my posts again!
