Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.

Tick Country

Tick! Nasty and gross! I noticed this tick on me while in the grocery store! A quick call to farmer J informed me to leave it alone until I got home. I was pretty unnerved the entire 15 minute car ride back to our farm. Pickle noticed my anxiety and said, "Do you want me to drive, Mama?" I declined his polite offer! 11 more years, buddy!

Soon we were home. J used the hot end of a blown out match to get the tick to retreat out of my body. Parasite freedom!

Luckily, we have only found wood ticks, the tick that does not carry Lyme's disease, on our bodies.

We need more chickens to free range on the land and eat up all the ticks!
